Be aware that the Selectboard determines the official amount of the exemption on an annual basis. The exemption is a percentage of the average of residential properties in town (up to 35%). The following example uses a more conservative 20% exemption rate.
The calculator is based on 2025 data provided by the Assessor of the Town of Great Barrington.
